How we collect, use, and protect your personal data — DPDP Act 2023 compliant.

Last updated: 2026-05-24 (v1.0_2026-05)

1. Who we are

This privacy policy describes how Pragathi Developers ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects the personal data of visitors to the Green Woods website and prospective buyers who interact with us. We are the Data Fiduciary for the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

2. What data we collect

  • Identity & contact: Name, phone, email, postal address (when you submit an enquiry, request a site visit, or download a brochure).
  • Enquiry context: Configuration of interest (2 BHK / 3 BHK / villa), budget range, message text, source page and referrer URL, UTM parameters, IP address, browser user-agent, device type.
  • Consent records: The exact text of consent you granted, version, timestamp, and IP address — retained for legal compliance.
  • Cookies & analytics: See our cookie policy.

3. Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and schedule site visits.
  • To share project updates, pricing, brochure, and floor plans you requested.
  • To improve the website and our sales process (aggregated, anonymous analytics).
  • To comply with legal and regulatory requirements (RERA, tax, audit).

4. Lawful basis & consent

We collect personal data only with your explicit, informed consent — captured at the point of submission with a versioned consent text. You can withdraw consent at any time using our data request form.

5. How long we keep it

Non-booked enquiry records are retained for 24 months from the last interaction, then automatically purged. Booked customer records are retained per the sale agreement. Consent logs are retained indefinitely as legally required. OTP codes are deleted after verification.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

  • Our home-loan partner banks (only if you explicitly request loan pre-approval).
  • SMS/WhatsApp service providers (MSG91, Meta) under strict data-processing agreements.
  • Government and regulators when legally required (RERA, tax authorities, courts).

7. Your rights under the DPDP Act

  • Access: Request a copy of your data.
  • Correction: Have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Deletion (erasure): Have your data removed.
  • Withdrawal of consent: Stop our processing of your data.
  • Grievance: File a complaint with our Data Protection Officer.

Use our data request form — we acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 30 days.

8. Data Protection Officer

For privacy-related queries, write to info@pragathidevelopers.in with the subject line "DPDP request".

9. Security

All personal data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and sensitive fields (OTP secrets, payment keys) are encrypted at rest. We follow access-control best practices and maintain an audit log of every administrative action.
